Schon Bilderverstärker Gen. 2+ stehen sehr nah zur Leistung der dritte Generation, aber Rohre Intens soll Standarde fuer vierte Generation erfuellen. Diese Bilderverstärker stehen in verschiedenen Variationen zur Verfügung, die sich mit seiner Auflösung und Preis unterscheiden. Wie alle DEP - Photonis Bilderverstärker hat auch Intens exzelente Leistung - min. Aufloesung 64 lp/mm , Signal to Noise Ratio min. 28, Sensitivität von Fotokathode ist leider geheime Information und gain (Restlichtverstärkung) zwischen 47 120x - 62 830x. Erwartene Lebensdauer sind minimal 10 000+ Arbeitsstunden. Nach Tastergebnisse soll Intense Reichweite minimal um 40% länger, bei schlechten Lichtbedienungen sogar zweimal so gross als bei Konkurenz sein. Bilderverstärker ist mit Automatic Brightness Control und Bright Light Protection Funktionen ausgestattet, die ihm vor Beschädigung mit starken Lichtquellen schutzen. Rohre Intens ist sehr widerstandsfähig gegen Rückstosse bis +/- 500 g (gesamt 1000 g) in beiden winkelrechte Achsen während 2 ms +/- 0,2 ms. Diese high-end Rohre ist mit Autogating Elektronik ausgerüstet.
