G -14 features a unique ergonomic design that allows very comfortable single-handed operation and dramatically minimizes the probability of user errors in extreme conditions. The unit operates on one CR-123 battery to keep the weight to a minimum and guarantees reliable service at a wide range of temperatures. The monocular is equipped with an invisible to the human eye short range infrared illuminator to assist with tasks that have to be performed in complete darkness, such as map reading, equipment repairs, etc. G-14 comes standard with Mil Spec headgear, weapon mount, Camera/Video adapter, sacrificial window, and soft carrying case making in it one of the most versatile “out-of-the box” systems on the market. With the use of standard and optional accessories, G-14 can be configured for a multitude of mission requirements:

- Hand held spotting scope (can be used alone, with optional magnification lenses, or attached to a daytime spotting scope with the optional universal adapter)
- Hands free mono-goggle (with the included headgear or optional helmet mount)
- Day/Night weapon sight (with the use of the included weapon mount and optional EoTech/Aimpoint, or attached to an existing rifle scope with the optional universal adapter
- Hand held binocular (with the use of an optional Bridge Assembly and optional magnification lenses)
- Surveillance and night-time photography (with the use of the included camera adapter)
